After a wonderful morning hiking around Hurricane Ridge, I dropped down from the mountains and over to Rialto Beach. On the way I took a picture of a mile marker to Forks, and sent it to my sister, teasing her that I was in her beloved Twilight country. She got pretty heated about it…
Anyways, I will once again let the pictures do the talking:

Needless to say, my time on the Olympic Peninsula was inspiring, jaw dropping in terms of its beauty, and really got me thinking about life. In fact, my entire trip has been that way, from Silverton to Port Angeles. All has seemed blessed and showcasing of life’s potential. As I now sit at home here in California, trapped in the smoke, 100+ degree temperatures, and a not-so-great social life, I am starting to think about what the best move is in life. Do I stay and continue serving this area that clearly needs the help, in spite of the fact that it gives me little love and blessing in return? Or do I head out into the broader world, escape this place like an Old Testament Lot, brush the dust of this town from my shoes and see what else is out there? Time will tell. Until then…
Cheers,
Rob
