I officially blocked off time for the trip.  I’ll be heading out first thing in the morning on July 25th, and hopefully returning home by August 8th.  An itinerary is even starting to surface!  Here’s the rough draft:

July 25 : Drive to La Grande
July 26 : Enjoy La Grande for the day/Drive to Wallowa Lake
July 27 : Wallowa Lake
July 28 : Drive to Tacoma
July 29 : Drive into Canada.  Hopefully set up camp somewhere in Glacier NP
July 30 : Glacier NP
July 31 : Head into Jasper/Banff/Kootenay/Assiniboine Region
August 1 :  Jasper/Banff/Kootenay/Assiniboine Region
August 2 : Jasper/Banff/Kootenay/Assiniboine Region
August 3 : Jasper/Banff/Kootenay/Assiniboine Region; Drive to Calgary
August 4 : Drive to Bozeman
August 5 : Either Bozeman or Driving to Salt Lake City
August 6 : Either Driving to Salt Lake City or Enjoying It
August 7 : Salt Lake City
August 8 : Drive Home

Of course now comes the difficult part (but also the fun part) – narrowing down trails and locales in each area.  Stay tuned for updates.
